About Robogals
Robogals is an international student-run organisation that aims to get more girls studying science, engineering and technology at a tertiary level, by engaging girls in these topics from a young age with school visits and other fun activities. Robogals has chapters at 16 universities across Australia, the United Kingdom, the United States, and Japan.  The founder of Robogals, Marita Cheng, was named the 2012 Young Australian of the Year.  For more information, visit

How you can be part of it
The ANU chapter is looking to expand the team by introducing 6 new members, and we would like you to be part of it. The current team consists of 6 main executive committee members, and the new positions are an expansion of those role responsibilities. Please refer to the attached documents for the new roles and its corresponding responsibilities.

We’re looking for 6 members who are:
  • Organised
  • Easily contactable (email & phone)
  • Enthusiastic, dedicated and determined
  • Takes initiative
  • Comfortable with writing and proof reading material
What you will get
By being part of the Robogals ANU team, you will be able to work with a team that will make a real difference. You will improve your skills, make great contacts, and have fun. You will also see how the executive committee operates, and be able to apply and be part of the committee in the upcoming AGM.

The eligible candidates will be contacted via email, and invited to an informal meeting with a few committee members. Roles are not restricted to female students, everyone is welcome to apply!
